My Favorite Wedding Images From 2015

My Favorite Wedding Images From 2015

I used to choose my top 10 favorite wedding images each year, but I either got too lazy to narrow it down this year, or I just had too many images that I liked ;) It's so fun to go back and look through all of the wonderful weddings I had the opportunity to photograph.

My favorite images to take are definitely the candid moments just full of emotion, but I found myself drawn to more portrait and some detail images the last couple of days! Here is a little collection from just some of the weddings of 2015. I'm so happy for all of these great memories!!

Engagement + Senior + Lifestyle Portrait Favorites From 2015

Engagement + Senior + Lifestyle Portrait Favorites From 2015

At the end of each year (well and throughout the year as well) I always go back and look over my images from the year. First, it's just fun to look back at all of the wonderful people and memories from the last year, but second, it really gives me a chance to see if I'm creating the best work possible for my clients. I am constantly trying to improve my skills, creativity, customer experience, and really anything having to do with my photography business! I am so grateful to be able to be a photographer and because I never want to stop means I always want to do my best for all of my amazing clients.

I went through and pulled some of my favorite images from some of the engagement and portrait sessions from 2015, and it was so tough to narrow it down! There are a million little reasons why I chose these images, and tomorrow I'd probably choose different ones, but I can't help smiling as I look back at this little collection of moments from the past year :) THANK YOU all for a wonderful 2015 and I cannot wait for 2016!!

Travel Diaries | Utah - Salt Lake City, Wasatch Mountains, Moab

Travel Diaries | Utah - Salt Lake City, Wasatch Mountains, Moab

Back in June I went to visit my best friend in Salt Lake City and photograph their engagement session! Well, my super delayed flight, and their crazy doctor schedules meant we couldn't hike up into the mountains for a grand background, but we still got some beautiful and fun portraits in downtown Salt Lake City!

In 2016 it is my goal to photograph more adventurous couples that want to go off the beaten path to get epic views and backgrounds for their portraits! If you want to try something new, different, or meet at a stunning location get in touch because I do as well :) Lets go explore this beautiful country together! ....just imagine yourself in front of some of these amazing views for your portrait session

Kevin + Rebecca | A Backyard Wedding Full Of Love And Emotion In Verona, WI

Kevin + Rebecca | A Backyard Wedding Full Of Love And Emotion In Verona, WI

One of my favorite weddings this year was for Kevin and Rebecca who had a beautiful wedding at a family home in Verona, WI. This couple came back to Wisconsin to recite vows to each other that had everyone in tears. All day long you could feel and see the love between these two and how excited they were to celebrate their marriage with family and friends!

As Kevin and Rebecca shared their first dance at sunset, it was hard not to tear up as everyone watched how tightly they held one another as they danced. This day was filled with so many beautiful and touching moments as well as so much fun and laughter! It was truly a wedding I will always say was one of my favorites :)

Wedding Details + Accessories | Mixing Classic + Vintage Details To Make Your Wedding Unique

Earlier last month I photographed Jen and Jas's wedding near Hudson Valley, NY, and they had the perfect combination of details that were both meaningful to them and tied their wedding together beautifully!

They combined new sleek accessories like the Prada shoes both the bride and groom wore, with the vintage touches like the bride's stole from her grandmother and the unique old coin cufflinks for Jas's tux. With so many big decisions on your wedding day, it's important to remember the small things that all add up to make a big impact on your wedding day.
