When is a good time to catch up on blogging? Why during a quarantine of course! Seeing as how we won’t be seeing any new weddings for a while, lets see some more of the gorgeous weddings that I’ve been able to photograph over the last few years! I’m going to travel not too far back to 2019 to start with Emily and Max’s gorgeous downtown day in the heart of Madison. These two met while working at the Capitol so it’s only fitting that they said their “I do’s” there and then walked across the street to dine and party with the Capitol in the background.

One thing I always tell couples when I meet with them for the first time is that they need to stay true to who they are and to plan the wedding they want and that there are just SO many options and ways to plan your wedding day. That is exactly what Annie and Steve did :) These two love brunch so they planned a brunch wedding! I don’t know anyone that doesn’t love a good brunch so having all of your family and friends get together for your favorite kind of day is just how you should spend your wedding day!
If that wasn’t enough, Annie and Steve have the best style! I just love the combination of modern and boho elements for their wedding day. And to make it even more special, the gorgeous and unique stationary was designed by Annie herself! Wow!! Needless to say I just love this couple and love everything about their wedding day and I’m sure you will too after looking through all of these images!

One of the things that I love about Madison is that you can get the combination of downtown urban vibes along with beautiful natural backgrounds and a more rustic feel all within a close distance! Annabeth and Patrick definitely took advantage of that for their absolutely stunning wedding day!! Getting ready on the square means it’s the perfect opportunity to use our beautiful state capitol building for their first look and some quick portraits!
They had their bridal party enjoy a fun trolly ride out to The Fields Reserve where we all got to see the gorgeous details these two planned and enjoy the gorgeous sunset on the lawn before dancing the night away :) I could go on and on, but really I just loved getting to hang out with this amazing couple and their family and friends and being spoiled by such a gorgeous wedding to photograph!

I don’t actually get to photograph many intimate weddings each year, but oh my gosh do I want to do more especially after this one! This day will always be special to me just because of how meaningful and special Jen and Max made it for their family!
They took the weekend and came up from Chicago to spend the weekend at a cabin and just spend some quality time together. When they all got there they walked up a hill behind the cabin and found a beautiful spot to say their vows to each other while all the kids surrounded them and I think everyone was in tears :) This family let me document such a beautiful day for them and they made me feel part of the family as well and for that I will always be grateful for that opportunity!
