Anneke + Levi | A Bright and Modern Madison Public Library Wedding | Madison, WI

Anneke + Levi | A Bright and Modern Madison Public Library Wedding | Madison, WI

I'll be honest with you guys, I've been sitting here thinking about what I want to write about Anneke and Levi's wedding day and I just keep starting sentences and they don't seem to do them justice! These two are just such wonderful, kind, genuine, and caring people and you really saw that throughout their wedding day. Their wedding day was really just effortless to photograph and in one of my favorite venue's downtown, the public library!

One thing that I always tell my couples when I first meet with them is that you should plan your wedding any way that you want. Also, that everyone will have an opinion on how to plan their wedding day, but to stay true to what they want. Anneke and Levi did just that! They chose to do their first look at the capitol which honestly was a first for me! Normally when we are looking for spots for a first look we try to find something a little more private, but we just made that happen at a very public place :) It was a beautiful spot and the perfect location for them to see each other on their wedding day!

Ethan + Leslie | Classic Orpheum Theater Wedding | Madison, Wisconsin

Ethan + Leslie | Classic Orpheum Theater Wedding | Madison, Wisconsin

What can I say about this wedding, other than WOW! Leslie and Ethan put together a wedding day that was not only classically stunning, but unique and fun for all of their quests. I absolutely love all of the thoughtful and intentional details that these two have included on their wedding day. From the special gifts they exchanged in the morning, choosing a boutique hotel to get ready at, to a private moment during their first look, and then all of the props to have fun with it's safe to say this day was just full of special moments.

I think it's very easy to see that Leslie and Ethan are madly in love with each other and that combined with the soft, romantic glow of the Orpheum made for a fairy-tail setting for their reception! And of course no dance is complete without some fun props to party with :) I'm so happy I got to be part of this amazing day, and it's just a good reminder of what your wedding day should be about. Celebrate your love and commitment with your family and friends but also do it in a way that is meaningful and unique to you!

Erich + Kelli | Quivey's Grove Wedding | Madison, Wisconsin

Erich + Kelli | Quivey's Grove Wedding | Madison, Wisconsin

I am always honored every time anyone books me to photograph their wedding, but it's even more special for me when it's people I know! Erich and I are both members of a local professional networking group, and I was so thrilled when Kelli and Erich asked me to photograph their wedding day.

As you can see it was an absolutely perfect and beautiful day! I just love the combination of colors, details, and of course a beautiful outdoor setting. That being said though, the thing I loved the most and will always remember is how Kelli and Erich told me it was the best day of their lives and it was all so perfect! Wedding planning can be stressful and a lot of work, but you have to remember why you're doing it. You're creating a day to share these amazing memories with your family and friends, but most importantly you're taking vows and making a commitment for the rest of your life. Getting to be there and see the looks on their faces when Kelli and Erich saw each other for the first time, as they read their vows to each other, and even as they danced the night away is something I am truly humbled by. Beyond all of the gorgeous details, locations, or colors this was the most perfect day because of the love and memories that were shared. Congratulations Kelli and Erich!
